therefore the permanent monitoring of drinking water quality is a task of key importance.
Monitoring stations constantly measure and analyse the following parameters in drinking water
- Composition, ph-values, oxygen content
- Presence of chlorine, chlorine oxide, ozone
- Number of particles present
- Presence of microbiological organisms
- Temperature
- Water hardness (amount of lime scale)
- Presence of trace elements or other compounds such as iron, manganese, nitrates
